OPEN DOORS
WEDNESDAY, 5TH FEBRUARY 2025
EWC Devotional
"For I do not wish to see you now on the way; but I hope to stay a while with you, if the Lord permits. But / will tarry in Ephesus until Pentecost. For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries."
Doors are usually openings or entry points into a house. Doors can also be used to block pathways. We all have instances where people in or lives have acted as open doors or blockades. Sometimes God places people in your life who are not the real deal but will open doors for you.
A door can change your life, position and relationship. The difference between you and other people is the door you have been privileged to access. Being anointed is not enough, you need access to a door.
You need to stand in prayer and be expectant. Prayer, expectation and obedience will surely lead you to your open doors.
Just as a door leads you into another room, sometimes an old chapter in your life must end for another to start. God is about to open your eyes to see who is a door in your life in 2025. They may not come in ways you expect but you must be discerning. Paul, in today's scripture, tarried at Ephesus for he recognised an open door and claimed it. Do not be distracted by the worries of this world. God has opened a door for you in 2025, claim it and begin to operate in the promises of God. One door can change everything around you.
